The Tudumishe Amani Kupitia Elimu (Cherish Peace Through Education) project is a core initiative by TASA, implemented under the broader Kwapamoja Tudumishe Amani program. It is dedicated to utilizing education as a powerful and proactive tool for social transformation, conflict prevention, and the nurturing of peaceful values in Tanzania.
Who Where Targeted
This critical program focuses on secondary school students, teachers, and administrators across the Mtwara DC, specifically within the Madimba and Ziwani wards. By establishing Peace Building Clubs, the project actively empowers the school community with essential skills in leadership and conflict resolution.
Why This Project
The project is necessary to tackle persistent challenges in schools and communities, such as bullying, gender-based violence, and discrimination. Its goal is to foster a culture of tolerance, mutual respect, and non-violent communication, thereby raising a new generation of peace ambassadors.
