Muungano wa Usalama Tanzania (TASA), alongside our partners IPCA, has officially commenced the introductory phase of the VIJANA@rtWORK project within the Nyasa District Council. This mission serves as a critical entry point to establish institutional synergy with local authorities and align our environmental conservation strategies with the district’s unique ecological landscape.
Supported by Culture and Development East Africa (CDEA), Goethe-Institut Tansania, and the European Union, the initiative explores the intersection of creative arts and community-led climate action. We are currently engaging district leadership to foster a shared vision of utilizing artistic expression as a primary tool for engaging youth in sustainable natural resource management.
A core component of this introduction is the promotion of gender equality within the framework of climate resilience. By prioritizing inclusive dialogue during this foundational stage, TASA aims to empower young women and men to take a leading role in environmental stewardship, ensuring that creative advocacy becomes a driver for long-term ecological safety.
